Special Assessment Meeting

The Special Assessment letters have been received by the unit owners. Please save the date for the upcoming Special Assessment meeting scheduled:

  • When: Wednesday, June 30, 2010
  • Time: 7:30 pm
  • Where: Social Room at The Pavilion Condominium.

Reminder For Timely Monthly Fees

All monthly fees are due by the 1st of each month for: maintenance, leased parking, and storage. Sign-up now for the convenience of ACH, automatic monthly maintenance fee withdrawal, from your bank account.

Call the Association Office for the ACH form at (305) 861-4600.

Are you planning to have construction/renovations in your unit?

All unit owners who plan to have construction/renovations in their unit MUST inform the Office beforehand to schedule and provide the following:

- pick-up a name tag to walk around the condo
- a deposit check
- scope of renovation work
- contractors' license and applicable permits
- any other information the Office instructs to provide

In addition, ALL contractors MUST register with the office upon entering the condo and sign-in on a daily basis.

Units under renovations MUST lay down a taped and safe contractor's sturdy paper covering outside the unit door to avoid having debris walked on in the halls and condo.

New Policy on Beach Chairs

The beach lounge chairs will be collected, stacked, chained, and locked each day at 7:00 pm regardless of any holiday.

It has been necessary to implement a system that will ensure our beach furniture from continuing to be depleted.

Please cooperate with this new system for the good of securing everyone's financial investment in the condominium. After 7:00 pm, unit owners and tenants will have to provide your own chairs on the beach.

Board of Directors Regular Meeting


Date: Wednesday, June 2, 2010
Time: 7:30 P.M.
Place: 5601 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fl 33140
Location: Social and Activities Room (Mezzanine Level)

I. Call to Order @ 7:38PM
II. Roll Call -
Alina Gonzalez, Helena Del Monte (via phone), Jose Martinez, Alex Hernandez, Eddy Valdes, Priscilla Suarez all present; a quórum was established
Note: Director Juan Pablo Aleman resigned effective 5/26/2010

III. Reports of Officers -there were no reports.
IV. New Business – ratification of a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT with R.N. Brown (contractor)

a. Motion to approve the Settlement Agreement - by Priscilla Suarez

1. There were no questions from members of the Board of Directors; no discussion

Dog Tags for registered dogs have arrived.

Please stop by the Office to pick-up your Pavilion Pet Permit Dog Tag. Your dog tag number will be recorded in the office. If you have not registered your dog with the Office, please do so ASAP for all dogs are expected to exhibit the new red hydrant shaped numbered tag.

Please acquaint yourselves with The Pavilion's Pet Restriction Polcy issued and commenced on April 1, 2010. Copies of the Pet Policy were mailed out to unit owners/tenants. For additional copies stop by the Office.

Please remember that unit owners and long-term tenants who own a dog are grandfathered in before April 1, 2010. After April 1, 2010 dogs (pets) will not be permitted for new purchasers of units and/or renters.
